Justin Grotheer, LCMFT
As a sensitive and empathetic person, I get it—life can be a lot. Adulting is hard, relationships are messy, and sometimes it feels like we’re building the plane mid-flight. Sure, it might work out—but everyone deserves a better option than just winging it and hoping for the best.
I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a space where you can breathe, be heard, and feel safe enough to figure things out. A place where you can be honest—even with yourself—without fear of judgment. Reconnecting with yourself is the cornerstone of so many comeback stories that I’ve seen again and again.I help people reconnect with themselves because knowing your worth, and believing it, is a source of resilience and strength you can take with you into every situation, every day.
I work with individuals, couples, and all forms of adult relationships. My practice is affirming of neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ identities, and diverse experiences. I tailor our work to your unique needs, using an integrative approach that draws from IFS, attachment theory, ACT, DBT, EFT, and more. My style is supportive, evidence-based, and always focused on helping you move through life’s challenges in a way that fits you.
Outside of therapy, you’ll find me practicing a lot of the self-care I talk about, and trying my best to embody kindness and inclusivity. For me, that takes the form of daily meditation and walks, cooking for my family, creating, being mindful, and connecting with the people and values that matter to me.
Healing is a journey that you don’t have to navigate alone. If you're ready to explore what’s next, I’d love to connect. Reach out today for a free consultation.
